Fear driven society Many problems in organisations seem to originate from fear. Fear to lose market share, fear to underperform shareholder expectations, fear for reduced client satisfaction, fear not to meet your bosses expectations, fear not to live up to your own expectations, fear to speak your heart and mind, fear not to meet (unrealistic) objectives, fear to miss a long desired promotion, fear to fail, fear to lose your job, fear to be rejected, fear to step down, fear to look at your self, fear to choose for what your heart and soul long for, fear to take full responsibility etc. This is not only visible in commercial organisations. Also within governments, politics and civil society. Even world wide. When we are motivated by fear, we want to keep everything under control. But we create what we want to avoid: conflict, contraction, defensiveness and agression. All of this is very much related to our shadow and ego. The illusion of separation.
The good news is that everyone has a choice. What do you choose? Love or fear?
